3. Notes

a) Radios are in all squads and AFV. Infantry have IINF.
b) Infantry have 1-3x M72 disposable LAW per squad and possibly 40mm M79 grenade launchers.
c) The seventeen Mechanised Brigades each have one Armoured Battalion, one Armoured Recce Squadron and two Mechanised Battalions.
d) Twelve brigades have tanks in the Armoured Recce Squadrons, the remaining five appear to have insufficent tanks and use jeeps and trucks.
e) Four brigades have Leopard 1A5 in their Armoured Battalion, the other thirteen brigades have M48A5T2.
f) Four brigades have Cobra ATGW in their Anti-tank Company.
g) From 2002 up to one Redeye platoon per AA Company can be replaced by Stinger.
h) M48A5T1 has FSAPDS and IRNF. M48A5T2 has FSAPDS, TI, and stabilised IFCS.
i) The AIFV/.50" has small turret armed with .50" HMG, and is called AAPC in Turkey.
j) For the Mechanised Brigade deployed in Northern Cyprus see L ist T12M.
k) Can use Corps and Army support from List T13M.
