      4 platoons@ 5 AR sqds, 10 SAW, LMG and/or RPG-7, 0-1x 60mm mortar

    1 Support Company:
      CHQ: 2 AR/SMG squads
      0-1 battery: 3x 82mm M43 mortars
      1 battery: 4x 107mm Type 63 MRL on trucks
      1 platoon: 3-6x twin 23mm ZU-23-2
      1 platoon: 1-3x 12.7mm HMG or 14.5mm ZPU-1 or twin 14.5mm ZPU-2
      1 platoon: 1-3x T-54 or Type 59 tanks

2. Brigade Support

Infantry Brigade HQ: 6 AR/SMG sqds, 2 LMG, 8 trucks, Toyota pickups with up to:

    1 A/T Platoon: 4x 82mm B10 or 107mm B11, back packed or on trucks

    1 Mortar Battery: 0-4x 120mm M43 or 120mm AM49 mortars, 6 trucks, Assigned FC

    1 AA Battery: 1-3x 37mm M39, truck tows available

    1 Artillery Battery: 2-6x 122mm M38 or D30 howitzers, trucks, Assigned FC

3. Notes

a) Radios are in all AFV and other PHQ, when working. No night fighting equipment is available.
b) Infantry have no disposable LAW or A/T grenades.
c) The Sudanese Peoples Liberation Army (SPLA) has several divisions sharing at least 30 battalions with 1000 men each.
d) Small arms are AK47, Sterling SMG, G-3, RPD, PKM, RP46, SKS Carbines.
e) Details are provisional.
f) Most heavy weapons are in static defensive positions.
