2. Brigade Support

    1 Artillery Battalion:

      BHQ: 4 AR sqds, 4 OP Teams, 2x M577A1, 2x M113A1
      4 batteries@ 4x 155mm M109A2, 1x M113A1

3. Notes


a) Radios are in all squads and AFV. AR is FN or AK47.
b) Infantry have 1-3x M72A1 disposable LAW per squad.
c) The Brigade has three Mechanised Battalions and one Tank Regiment.
d) If infantry are in BMP-2 then tanks are M-84, otherwise is M113 and Chieftain mix.
e) During Desert Storm the two available Mechanised Brigades were joined by Saudi Mechanised Brigades (List SU2M) in small divisions.
f) Chieftain may have FSAPDS and IFCS.
g) Brigade OP can be in Landrover or M113A1.
h) BMP-2 has AT-4 Spigot, and infantry are seven man squads.
i) In Desert Storm every Bttn HQ and Brigade HQ had an American OP/Air Liaison Team in 2x M577A1 or Hummers attached.
