5. Notes

b) Infantry <:f240,,>have <:f240,,>73mm M50 rifle anti-tank grenades (not if Gendarmerie).
c) French Territorial Forces include the17th and 27th Alpine Brigades each of three Alpine Battalions and possibly one Light Armoured Regiment; 25 Infantry Battalions raising to 80 battalions on mobilisation in 21 Infantry Divisions in seven Corps HQs; and three Armoured Regiments;
d) Gendarmerie units include the 1st Armoured Group at Versailles; 100 Mobile Squadrons, some gathered in Groupes each of two Mobile Detachments as shown.
e) Alpine troops can be mobile on skis or in trucks.
f) Foreign Legion Regiments are battalion sized groups.
g) Honest John missiles have nuclear warheads.
