4. Notes

a) Radios are in all squads and AFV. Infantry have IINF. OP Teams have TI, laser rangefinders, radar, and GPS. CHQs have TI and GPS. GPMG have 600m range IINF sights. Milan-2 has TI sights.
b) Infantry have 100x LAW80 per Battalion, equivalent to 10 per platoon. From 1996 infantrymen can have 2x rifle grenades for each SA80.
c) The 3rd Mechanised Division has the 1st and 19th Mechanised Brigades, each of 1 Armoured Regiment, 1 Armoured Infantry Battalion, and 2 Mechanised Battalions. In addition, the division has the 5th Airborne Brigade attached (List B55M), and the 43rd Wessex TA Brigade (see List B58M) with 4? battalions.
d) ARV is Challenger ACRV.
e) 1st Brigade has 43 Chieftains in it's Armoured Regiment up to the end of 1995, after which it has Challenger 1.
f) The Division is part of the NATO ARRC Rapid Reaction Corps. If so used then the Italian Ariete Armoured Brigade would be attached.
g) All Armoured Regiments will have Challenger 2 eventually.
h) Can use Corps support from List B65M if in Europe.
i) WAH-64D Apache not until the year 2000.
