5. Notes

a) Radios are in all squads and AFV. Infantry have IINF.
b) Infantry have Panzerfaust-3 or 84mm S.550 Carl Gustav.
c) The 9 Brigades (Provincial Militia Commands) each have 2-3 Jager Regiments in wartime, 1 in peace time.
d) Trucks are 1-tonne Puchs Pinzgauer 4x4. Jeeps are Mercedez-Benz G-Wagen.
e) Reserve forces are only available after mobilisation.
f) There are 2 Corps each of 3 Provincial Militia Commands, plus a Mechanised Corps with 2 Provincial Militia Commands, plus 1 Army level command. These convert to Jager Brigades on mobilisation. In 1994 there were a total of 25 Jager Regiments.
g) Jager infantry may be mounted on horses in mountainous districts.
h) Some Jager units may still be using 107mm M30 or 120mm M43 mortars.
i) The attack helicopters listed on List AU2M had not been ordered by 1997.
