3. Notes

a) Radios are in all squads. Infantry have PNVG and IINF from 1981.
b) Infantry can have M72A3 (and from 1987, AT-4) disposable LAW, plus any of of the weapons assigned from the Stores Platoon.
c) The Regiment has 3 battalions.
d) M16A1 assault rifles can be replaced by HK MP5 silenced SMG for urban COIN operations.
e) 84mm M3 Carl Gustav not before December 1990.
f) Gun Jeeps have 2x GPMG fitted.
g) FIST Teams are OP/Naval FC/Air Liaison teams.
