4. Notes

a) Radios are in all squads and AFV. Infantry have IRNF.

b) Infantry have 0-6x M72 disposable LAW per squad from 1967, and/or 1x M18A1 Claymore mine per man.

c) The 4th Infantry Division (CT3) has 3 Brigades sharing 8 Infantry, 1 Mechanised, 1 Armoured, 1 Aviation battalions, and one Armoured Cavalry Squadron.

d) The 1st Infantry Division (C, BT3) has 3 Brigades sharing 9 Infantry and 1 Combat Aviation battalions and one Armoured Cavalry Squadron.

e) The 9th Infantry Division (CT3) has 3 Brigades sharing 5 Infantry, 2 Mechanised, 3 Riverine Infantry and 1 Aviation battalions, and 1 Cavalry Squadron, with an extra 105mm artillery battalion held at division level.

f) The 25th Infantry Division (C, BT3) has 3 Brigades each of 2 Infantry and 1 Mechanised Battalions, plus all three divisional battalions/squadron.

g) Infantry companies were rarely at full strength, many as low as half strength. Most units left the 90mm M67 and 81mm M29 at base camps.

h) Can use Corps and Army support from List A49M.

i) After 1970 some units can replace M79 with M203 on M16 rifle.

j) From 1966 most UH-1 gunships have 2 minigun, 14x 70mm RP, and 2 door GPMG. Alternatively up to two gunships per platoon can have a 40mm auto­grenade launcher nose turret, 38x RP, and 2 GPMG.
