5. Notes

a) Radios are in all sqds and AFV. AR is M16A2, SAW is M249.
b) Infantry have 3x M136 or, M72A3 disposable LAW per squad.
c) Artillery OP can be in M981 FISTV or divisional OH-58.
d) The Division has 2 Light Infantry, 2 Mechanised, 2 Armoured Battalions and 1 Cavalry Squadron, shared between 3 Brigade HQs.
e) Each tank company may have up to 2 dozers and 1 mineplough assigned.
f) Mixed battalion battlegroups are usually formed.
g) By 1994 all AH-1S are replaced by AH-64A Apache.
h) By 1994 Tank and Mechanised Battalion recce platoons are reequipped with 7x M3A2 Bradley each carrying a 2 man scout team with SAW.
