Notes

a) Up to 48x T-38A and AT-38B Talon are being upgraded to T-38C. The T-38 are used to train combat pilots, the T-38B specialising in fighter training.
b) T-37B is to be replaced by T-6A Texan II from 2002. This is a licence-built Pilatus PC-9 Mk.II. These are used for primary training.
c) AT-38B has centre line pylon for one 4-round 100mm rocket pod or other stores.
d) AT-1A Jayhawk (Beechjet 400T) is used to train multi-engine transport and tanker aircraft crews.
e) The T-3A Firefly is used for basic training and pilot screening.
