5. Notes

    a) Radios are cart mounted and down to battalion HQ level.
    b) The 12 Divisions were supposed to have 2 Brigades each of 2 Regiments each of 3 battalions. In practice most were held at 0-30% strength only, the organisation detailed here being full war mobilisation strength.
