From the Cardinal's Pulpit

A Break

by Steve Verdoliva
a.k.a. The Getting Mighty Frustrated Cardinal

The Cardinal Speaks (or babbles, rages, etc)

Many have been my pilgrimages across our glorious country this year. Dedicating myself to guarding the honor and reputation of my flock and chapter.

Verily I hear you say, "Oh our hard traveling Cardinal, take off your mitre with which you overawe us with your leadership, lay down your crosier with which you occasionally chastise us, let us carry the burden so that you may retire to the monastery and spend your days in contemplation of your good deeds and the dastardly die rolls you have yet to make."

Unfortunately I am awakened from my nap by the cathedral Deacon only to realize that I still have 3 more months to serve and No one has offered to release me from my task!

Someone must step up and take over for me. Elections are in October and we need candidates. I'll also repeat that we need a Convention Manager. As the time draws nigh, shall I be forced to resort to my cunning and manipulative ability to hand pick my successor, or shall we see a Paladin in the Pacific Southwest who will force me to retire my Inquisitional scourge and destroy my various blackmail items that I hold over so many of you (and you know who you all are, you there don't look away or surprised, I've got my sources about you too!)

Other than the above I'll be using this as a chance to remind you to contact me if you want to run a game in October. Lots of openings for good boys and girls but none for the naughty. Keep that in mind.
