From the Cardinal's Pulpit

Apocalypse Moment

HELLO MY FAITHFUL CONGREGATION,

YOUR CARDINAL HAS NOT ABANDONED YOU, AT LEAST NOT UNTIL THE OCTOBER ELECTIONS. HINT, HINT, NUDGE, NUDGE, WINK, WINK. OUR JANUARY MINI-CON WENT AMAZINGLY WELL WITH OVER 50 ATTENDEES. WWII SEEMED TO BE A VERY POPULAR THEME AND WE NEED ANOTHER ONE FOR THE JULY MINI-CON. THE LAX CON HAS JUST ENDED AND THERE WAS MORE HISTORICAL GAMES THERE THAN THERE HAVE BEEN IN AWHILE. A TIP OF THE HAT TO JOSE MENDIOLA AND ALL THE VOLUNTEER GMS. OUR OWN APRIL CON IS SOON APPROACHING AND WE NEED GAMES TO FILL IT UP. I'VE HEARD FROM A FEW GUYS SO FAR BUT NOTHING IS IN CONCRETE EXCEPT THE CHARIOT RACE.

THE LAX CON HAD AN OCCURRENCE OF EPIC PROPORTIONS WHEN IT WAS NOTED THAT THE CURRENT PRES AND ALL THE FORMER ONES WERE IN THE SAME ROOM TOGETHER. MENTION WAS MADE OF THE PHOTO OP THIS WAS BUT OTHERS POINTED OUT THIS WAS ALSO ONE OF THE POSSIBLE SIGNS OF THE APOCALYPSE AND THE MOMENT PASSED BY. I'LL BE GOING TO COLD WARS, SEVEN YEARS WAR CONVENTION, AND LITTLE WARS BEFORE OUR CON, SO I'LL HAVE REVIEWS FOR THE NEXT NEWSLETTER. THE KID CAN DRIVE, THE WIFE IS OUT OF TOWN, TRAVEL, TRAVEL, TRAVEL

UNTIL THEN, ROLL WELL. AND DON'T WHINE IF YOU DON'T. YOUR CARDINAL
