Fall Convention

by Mark Parker

The leaves are changing. The wilderness animal known among the Indians only as "wargamer' begins his time honored ritual of winter hibernation. Gone are the Summer days of Conventioneering and competitions. Winter is a time when "wargamer" hunkers down in his lair, painting figurines, watching football, and dreaming of the coming Spring. To all our wilderness animals, every officer here at our HMGS/PSW chapter wish all of you Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and a very happy and prosperous New Year!

Our Fall convention was held in October at the Verdugo Boy Scouts Hall again and many excellent games were played. This convention our chapter held elections and new members were chosen for all 3 offices of President, Vice-President, and a combined position of Secretary/ Treasurer. Our last officers; Chris Snell, Danny Jones and Rob Boyens did a great job and left some big shoes to fill for our new administration. Well done all!
