This is our first newsletter with Mark Parker at the helm. Bill Heizer was too busy with family and school so lie had to step aside. The Board would like to thank Bill for his effort and also for informing us with enough time to get a new Editor. Mark stepped up to the plate and volunteered to pitch in.. This is very encouraging, showing the deep dedication of our members. This is especially good, because I didn't want to do it! Elections are upon us and I have officially heard from the following people to fill the following positions: President-Mark Parker, Vice-President - Kevin Rounsaville, Secretary/Treasurer - Steven Verdoliva. Notice that there isn't any listing for a 2nd Vice-President this time, and I'm not even sure we re ally need one. BUT if anyone wants to run for it feel free. I'd like to note how Mark and Kevin are new people, or an old retread from years ago. ( Sorry Mark ) I like the idea that the officers aren't centered in just one gaming group but are spread around for a hopefully larger overview. This is sue will also have a limited PEL for our Fall Convention. Check the list for what is going on and if you don't see something you like then RUN some thing. Call or e-mail me and we'll get it in. But, first come first served. We are going to try something new this con, we are going to award the host for the best game. This will be judged by figure quality, terrain quality and game quality. We're not saying who the Judges will be but the award will be called "The President's Award". To see what games are added to the PEL, keep an eye on the chapter's website. (Kindly kept by Marc Canu) Well, that's all I can think of for now. Good luck to you all!
