Hello! This is going to be short and to the point! Item the first We seem to have a lack interest in renewing memberships, so every member is being sent two newsletters. Pass one along to a friend who is a non-member and get him (or her) to sign up. Item the second HMGS' fall campaign will be held November 18-19th at the Wyndham Hotel at L.A. Airport. (The former Hyatt.) Item the third The National HMGS Board Meeting was in Kansas City. The highpoints were (A) the acceptance of Great Lakes and Gulf South Chapters; (B) the formation of a national newsletter, (C) the formation of a Military Information Pool so military members of HMGS may know who contact when they are transferred to a new chapter. Item the fourth There will a HMGS/PSW Game Day for the next three months. First will be at Something Unusual, June 17th, second at The War House, July 15th and the third at the Fair Valley School in West Covina Sept. 16th. Item the fifth after a long period of service to HMGS/PSW I will not run for any board position in the upcoming elections. Item the sixth HMGS/PSW needs someone to take over as convention manager and helpers to man the convention registration desk.
