Letter from the Editor

New Editor

by Steven Verdoliva, Pres. HMGS/PSW

Hello,

Welcome to the first and last issue of the Occasional Messenger for which I am editor. This is because Stephen Phenow has volunteered to become editor as of the April issue (my thanks to Stephen). Don't forget that if you want to run an event at the Spring Con, fill out an event form and send it in, first come, first served. Also, membership renewal is due at the Spring Con. If you can't make it (but I know you'll all be at the Con), send in your $10 and fill out the enclosed membership form to stay a member. Due to the importance of some items that need to be discussed at the chapter meeting, gaming willbe sopped for a one hour period at the Spring Con. All members are requested to attend and non-members are encouraged to listen in.

By the way, if you think this newsletter is kind of skimpy, you're right, but we've lots to do and little time to do it in. See you at the Con and remember you need to make room reservations by February 24th.

P.S - Rich De Rosa's Game Day, though lightly attended, was fun for those who participated. Games played were WWI (The Marne), Seven Years War, and a computer submarine game.
