Minatures Figure Review

25mm Three Musketeers

from Redoubt Enterprises

review by David Barnes

Finally, a pack for the Athos, Porthos and Aramis merchants amongst us.
TMX1 Dead, wounded, drunk? Guards and Musketeers. Flat out, slumped, kneeling, on hands and knees, calling for help or trying to ward offa blow. 5 figures, 4 with separate heads, empty scabbards or sheathed swords. Good for littering up the hexes in a duel, battlefield casualties or dioramas. Price around 3 pounds, again no list.

TMX2 (6 pounds) Pack original characters, some with separate heads including crippled old soldiers, beggars, waifs, and strays for the streets of Paris or the French countryside. 3 women and 5 men.

One bedraggled woman sits feeding her baby, another wrapped in rags tries to sleep, a third stands with her head covered in a shawl. Of the men - one holds out a battered hat for alms, one legless has a little four-wheeled trolley and a pole to get himself along (see Brengel's paintings), another one-legged man sits to rest, one with an arm missing walks wilh a staff.

Another one legged man holds out a begging bowl. Very colourful to add to your skirmish layout.

Excellent castings and detail. Send for some samples if you don't see enough in the drawings. Now for some drawings, not to scale:
