Chance is a Fine Thing



These are meant to be "cards" that you may play during a game turn.--RL

Where have all the bullets gone?

Enemy troops about to fire find they have run out of ammunition and cannot fire this turn. Play this during the opponents Fire phase during the current turn only.

Is it November 5th or what?

An enemy battery is destroyed when its ammunition caissons explode. Opponent to roll 1D10 for each battery, highest score battery is removed. PLAY IMMEDIATELY

Good Shooting!

Some of your sharpshooters have got in range of an enemy General and take a pot shot Roll 1D10. Score 1,2,9,10 and a General dies Opponent to roll 1D10 for each of his Generals, the lowest score dies PLAY IMMEDIATELY.

Hi Fella's, nice of you to come.

Your army's ranks are bolstered by the arrival of fresh troops. Replace up to two of the units previously removed. Play at the start of opponents movement phase. Troops enter along your base line in column

Oh dear. What a pity.

None of the orders issued by you can be received during this turn. Play at the start of enemy orders phase.

Why is nothing happening?

None of your orders can be received this turn since none of your couriers can locate his destination.

Quartermasler is having an off day

Your Quartermaster General is having a bad day. Ammunition is in the wrong place. Halve all your fire points in your next fire phase.

Could I have lost and found please.

Two of your reserve units have wandered off of their own volition. Roll 1d10 for each reserve unit and remove the two who score lowest. PLAY IMMEDIATELY.

It's not the 4th of Julv yet, is it?

One of your batteries explodes in spectacular fashion destroying all the guns. Roll 1D10 for each battery, highest score is removed.

My Hero???.

One of your Generals decides to lead from the front and attacks the nearest enemy unit. Roll 1D10 for each General, highest score attaches to nearest unit and advances at the charge movement rate. Play at start of your movement phase.

Couldn't hit an elephant at that ra.....

OOPS. Sorry, wrong way!

One of the enemy Generals decides his orders are wrong and does the exact opposite. Opponent rolls 1D10 for each General, lowest score issues unit orders opposite to current orders. Play at start of opponents movement phase.
