Editorial

Kenn Hart

Well, your editors are pleased to bring you the North American edition of LW 110 and are also pleased to note that we are off to a good start. SWA flyers have been distributed at three conventions and new members are joining after seeing copies of LW 109. Dealers are making inquiries and I hope that you will soon see more advertisements in these pages; more ads support more articles. We have also opened dialogs with wargamer clubs to our mutual benefit.

The SWA is expanding too slowly in one area though. It is my intent to get Lone Warrior into wargaming shops throughout Canada and the U.S. If you know of a shop that you believe might be interested in carrying the world's only journal for solo wargamers, then send me their name and address so that I can contact them.

As you may know, I receive articles for the North American edition from Kenn Hart, Lone Warrior editor and SWA Secretary. The following is an extract from Kenn's editorial: "It is our 19th Birthday and although we do not plan a celebration this year, for the 20th there will be a Bumper Edition of Lone Warrior and I am looking for articles for it NOW! Articles. All are welcome on any solo or related aspect be they hand-written or ready for instant publication on disk (we use Words so can accept just about anything between the staff). Please be aware of copyright when submitting articles and we will only accept original items and not those that have been published in other magazines. All items submitted to the Editor will be regarded as copyright to the Solo Wargamers Association whether they are published or not."

"I would like to make a special 'Thank You' to the few background workers who put so much of their time, effort and enthusiasm into making the Solo Wargamers Association what it is today. Without their help and support this job would be very different, especially when one remembers what was going on this time last year and all the fun that caused. The Association is in a sound financial situation, we have our own printer, scanner and soon photocopier which will make us completely self-sufficient and members are both joining and lapsed ones are re-joining, which makes 1995 a year to look forward to. Looking forward to hearing from you."

Good Soloing.
