I am glad to say that the Library has been used to a greater extent than I had earlier feared. The rules seem more popular than the games. On a happy note I have received and large package from David McCann who has kindly donated the rules and games listed below to the SWA Library. A very big thank you to him:

TUNNELS & TROLLS Fantasy Role Playing System: The Rule Book itself, 7 SOLO Dungeons, namely Dargons Dungeon; Beyond the Silvered Pane; Socerer Solitaire; Sword for Hire; Naked Doom; Sea of Mystery and City of Terrors. Also: The Solo Dungeon, D & D "Survival of the Fittest."

In addition I have dug out three more books: Discovering French German Military Uniforms (Nap through to WW1). Guide to Solo Wargaming S. Asquith. Setting Up a Wargames Campaign - T. Bath.

I have also received a package from Adrian Measures containing: Over The Top - WW1 Rules (GDW). Combined Arms -Modern (GDW). La Defense Francaise Franco-Prussian (Wargames Foundry). Indian Mutiny - Skirmish Rules (ASP). Forlorn Hope (1st Ed) ECW (Partizan Press). To The Sound Of The Gunst (2nc Ed) (TTG). Sea Power - Modern Naval (HOD). Stargrunt - SF Skirmish (G2G). Stargrunt Weapons Manual (G2G). Thanks Adrian. All available fz myself.

The SWA Library

The Library itself now consist of a multitude of books, rules, boardgames and the like (listed in LW 107, pages 31-33 and above) owned wholly by the Association and other items loaned to members but still owned by individuals such as myself and Kenn. The main condition is that they are not too weighty in order to keep the postage costs to a minimum. Members are free to write to whoever owns the item they wish to borrow; the spend El to help cover loss/damage/eventual wear and tear/cost of envelopes and packaging, and the item is posted out to them.

The loan length is one month by which time the borrower should have sent the item back together with the cost of the postage stamps on my or the senders initial envelope i order to reimburse the member loaning the item. Whilat this is going on I will have updated my records so that I can accurately keep track of where everything is at any one time. These will enable me to give the Committee accurate reports on the Library activities.

In addition to this there is some correspondence with members who may be offering to donate items to the Library or whatever, together with Committee business. Steve Poster.

[In addition to Steve I have had 4 requests for rules and magazines. In future editions details of how the SWA Library was started by Bob Clifford. Thank. to both David and Adrian for their generous donations. Kenn]
