Editorial

by Kenn Hart

For the first time in many a long year Bob Clifford's name does not appear as either "SWA Librarian" or " Advisers' Co-Ordinator". Bob is one of the unsung stalwarts of the SWA and his contribution will never be fully realized. We can offer our thanks for all the hard work he has put in on behalf of the membership over a considerable number of years. Bob, long may the cuboids smile upon you and good luck. A member volunteered for the task but found he was unable to do it. Also Lee Hopkinson only took on the Treasurer's job until the end of February 1994 and a fine job he has done and on behalf of the SWA I would like to thank him for all his hard work. His Report is now being audited. Look forward to his promised article!

This means we need members to take on the jobs of Membership Secretary, Treasurer and Librarian, if you want further details please contact me. Without members coming forward to take these jobs on and spread the administrative load then the SWA will continue to be produced by the efforts of the few named above. If you have a real interest in the SWA and a bit of time and expertise to spare please get in touch.

Apologies for those waiting to read up on the Cockleshell Heroes and the continuing saga of Greece 279 BC, they will definitely be in LW 107. The delay in publication was due to financial problems, which have now been sorted out, mainly by now publishing LW quarterly. This means LW 107 will be published in June, 108 in September, 109 in December and 110 in March 1995. Please note the subscription date and get yours in on time because we are working to a very tight financial schedule. The SWA will continue but more active membership participation is required. Good Soloing, Kenn.

Special thanks to:

Production & Distribution Team: Chris & Jill Constable.
"Input Engineers": Ian Duncan, Wendy (Granny) Ellison, Elaine Hughes.
