The Background to 17th Century England and Causes of the English Civil War This King or Parliament course focus on learning through enjoyment, not bombarding you with heavy and dull information. This course is the first of several I plan, to give a full breakdown of the civil wars of England. As such, this course will only focus on the events before the war, the main personalities, the reasons why war occurred and I use the year 1641 in full (the crucial year of build up to war), to show the effects of the dispute between King and Parliament. The course's tone is informative and easy reading, with interesting facts, tests and stories to aid enjoyment of learning. Most books and learning devices concentrate on the war itself and even ten, only on the well-known parts. This course can delve deeper into the root causes of the turmoil that racked England. During each lesson, you can formulate your own opinion and see how you would have dealt with the events of 360 years ago. Explore the real feelings of people who lived then and find out interesting anecdotal snippets of information. The course will be broken down into the following lessons:
The course is solely online and is 4 weeks long. The fast course can be learned at will by yourself for £3.65 / $6 or the full course which comes with online tuition and support is £6.10 / $10.
