Walkers and Civilian Vehicles

40K Stats

WALKERS

Walkers are a class of vehicles that are of basically civilian/ industrial origin that are occasionally adapted to military use. They differ from Titans in that while Titans are purpose-built military vehicles with mind-link operator interface, heavy armor and multiple backup systems, walkers are driven and nonmilitary, making them slower, clumsier and not as tough as similarly sized Titans. They also don't have military, power systems so can't carry the same weapons load that a military vehicle can. Light Walkers use the Dreadnought Crit Chart while Medium and heavier Walkers use the vehicle Crit Chart.

An ED-209 and, 1/144 scale Destraid Defender used as Imperial Dreadnoughts. The Defender was used as a Anti-Aircraft Dreadnought with special rules for hitting high speed flyers, but is no longer needed because of the maximum -2 'to hit modifier from the Battle Manual. Also shown are a Sentinel and a Star, Wars A T-ST used as a medium Walker.
