It's here ... ELECTION '96 ... no, not that Clinton/Dole crap. The important one, the election for the HMGS-Great Lakes Board of Directors.

We have nine candidates for sevens BOD positions and their biographies make up the last section of the newsletter. Please read them, and please vote. Details about voting are included in that section.

I want to mention to those members who have written or called with ideas for the newsletter format and content; that, almost all of those ideas will be incorporated over the next two issues. And, thank you for the advice.

Several members have also contacted me about the state of Gamedays and the status of the membership directory. The Gamedays are in a state of transition and will definitely change for the better over the coming year. I've talked to most of the members running for BOD positions and regardless of the election results, 1996 Gamedays will materialize and will be at more than one location. The directory will be out in January with updates of new members in each newsletter.
