The Great Lakes BOD is a group of seven members, elected by the membership, who guide the organization in an effort to help the organization fulfill its obligation to its members. The only real requirement for a BOD member is to be committed enough to Great Lakes to be present at the majority of BOD meetings held each year. There are roughly twelve meetings per year where decisions are made by the board to keep Great Lakes going.
