On the weekend of Oct. 6th thru Oct. 8th, HMGS Great Lakes held Rally 'Round the Flag '95. Rally '95 was held on the Ohio State University Campus at the Student Union in Columbus, Ohio. At this convention, a DBM Single Open Tournament was run. Prizes were awarded by the Dayton Painting Consortium. Ltd.. Columbia Games, and Ral Partha. A four on three (500 pts. per side) game was played for fun on Saturday evening and overall I think everyone had a good time. Congratulations goes out to Rich Novak, who came all the way from Indianapolis to win with, of all things, an Early Libyan Army. Rich barely had room to deploy his army he had so many psilo. I've got to admire a guy who would take the time to paint so much (I understand Rich borrowed this army). So, here are the final results(drum roll please)... Rich Novac Early Libyan 21 Pts Best Sport - Doug Anderson
* Won head to head As you can see, you don't always have to win to be a good sport, and your army doesn't always fight as good as it looks. Thanks to all who participated, and once again, thanks to all of the sponsors.
