Drums 5

Schedule Filling Up

by Jim Thomasson

February: Lots of snow here in Toledo, but we have work to do on "Drums along the Maumee 6" (May 20-21). I have e-mailed GM notices to the "old guard" and almost all have signed on again with some good looking events. Remember: The dropdead date for possible events will be April 1st -- no foolin!

Here's a teaser of the events lined up:

Friday:
Victor's 15mm Vikings
Gordon's 28mm Zeppelin down in Africa
Reese and Yugo Game number #57 - same village, same dead!
Jack's Pacific island invasion
Ric the Airplane Guy and all it entails!
Godzilla...maybe?
A few scifi games - Dennis in Mechs and Tom with spacemen
Finding Nemo #3 battle from Tim, called..."Thundertoad"...?! It WILL be on a smaller table, this time!

Saturday:
The "2mm Twins" running ACW,AWI and WW II!
Brad's Vikings/Moors in 60mm...let him fight the Twins!
Chuck and his Caveman Epic - the only pre-historic at the con!
DBA in 15mm from Smith and Company...this means Demana! (Editor's Note: Oh, does this mean I have to WIN it, Jim? Why, certainly! Since you asked...)

Nappy figures in 15mm from Ted and Steve and Jim W
Ed running Russo-Japanese war of 1904 in 1/2400 scale
Larry and a NATO Battle in 20mm
Bud and his Taku forts in 25mm (The Weasel has been banned!)
John H and a Normandy Battle
The infamous Toledo War, Round Six, from Doug
ACW from Steve J. in 25mm and 15mm with Doug R.
And several Friday games return on Saturday

Anyway, we have about 10 friday events and 22 saturday events, so far. Prime time slots are filling, if not full already. Send events to Jim Thomasson, 1217 Birch Ave., Maumee, OH 43537. (419) 893-3025, or e-mail: JThoma@aol.com. See us on the club web page at: www.hmgsgl.com.

Oh, in case you're curious, Tim has the paperwork for Drums 7 now in his hands...
