Colby Street Update: "Let's see...what have we been doing this winter? Tim and Jim joined Greg in Lansing for Spartacon. Tim had his version of the Legion going against a river village with the Varmit Gunboat. Jim did a French and Indian Battle where the fort was in the redskins hands at first -- then later, they kept it! The week after, Dennis, Tom and Jim went to the new site for Wintercon in Detroit. Dennis ran his naval minis and Jim's same battle for the fort was again in Indian hands at the end of the battle. Coming home that weekend, Tim broke his ankle while taking the dog out for a pee! He's still on crutches, as of today.

We have a couple of new projects: New versions on microarmor; ACW; Race cars; And maybe gladiators soon. Upcoming trips include BashCon this month, and SYW Con in South Bend and Battlefields (from the Pro or Con group) in Detroit next month. Also, the bugle has sounded also for the ex-patriot Colbys who are not always in the Bunker each week. We hope, as in the past, to run the current eight active Colbys with about six more from the colonies we have in other areas. We shall see who shows.

Drums 6 is looking good. We have four Dealers in the fold (as in paying up front before the con) and about 30+ events already from the Old Guard who have supported us for 6+ years! Thanks guys! We have mailed out Colbygrams to the GMs who are still wavering on sending in events. Time is important if certain slots are required. There is never enough. Tim has the Drums 7 paperwork now for 2006: Same place, same size and rates." -- Col. Colby, out back waxing the Varmit's deckgun...
