Running out of space for all your old gaming magazines? Is the wife eyeing them and the trash can in the same moment? Well, obviously, you can't just throw away your old Heralds, can you? I mean, think of the precious gaming gems packed inside each! Lost to you forever? Perhaps not, thanks to the initiative of one of your fellow members. Ron Woodrum has volunteered to create CDs with The Herald archives on them in Adobe PDF format. That way, you can store them easily and safely by your computer, ready to be referred to in a moment's notice! Together, Ron and I have gone back and created PDF files of the last four years of The Herald. Each CD will contain one calender year's worth of issues (six). They will have an attractive cover and jewel case for safekeeping. I'd like to thank Ron for undertaking this project. It seems are always asking for Great Lakes members to step forward and get involved in doing things for their chapter. With my schedule, it is unlikely it would have gotten off the ground, otherwise. We are planning on having the CDs of 2001-2004 available for sale at our first convention of the year, Warband. The Board will set the price based on final production costs, but we already know what is, right? Priceless!
