Since I didn't put much emphasis on it last issue, I'll mention it again. The HMGS National board voted to accept HMGS Great Lakes as a permanent chapter during the National meeting at Call to arms. While we are no longer under a provisional charter, we are still under some scrutiny to maintain our focus and to conduct ourselves as a branch of a national organization with over 4000 members.

Rally 'Round the Flag '95 will be held at the OSU Student Union located at N. High St. on Oct 6th, 7th, and 8th. If you are going to any conventions between now and then, pick up a handful of fliers from the Soldiery to advertise Rally '95. Gamemaster forms are available at The Soldiery, or from Phil Allar, Ferkin Doyle or myself. If you are interested in being a convention volunteer please contact Ferkin, Chong, or myself.

The Annual Membership Meeting will be Monday June 26th at 7:30 p.m. at the Whetstone Public Library located at 3909 N. High St in Columbus. Topics will include Rally '95, and other Great Lakes activities. This is our annual meeting where the concerned, dissatisfied, or unoccupied members come to hear the status of Great Lakes, as well as, beat up the BOD. Please try to make it if possible. the BOD would like to see you.

HMGS Gamedays will be held on the first Sunday of each month at the Soldiery. HMGS games will have priority for use of the gametables. Please contact the store to schedule events.
