Origins 2004

As the snow starts to fall here in Great Lakes country, it is time for everyone to think of a hot summer. Specifically, summer in Columbus, and the HOT program at Origins. This incredibly successful program showcasing historical miniatures at North America's largest all-genre gaming convention will be back again at the Columbus Convention Center, June 24-27.

The reason that it is time to think about a summer convention now, is that deadline for events to make it in the Pre-Registration guide is Jan. 10, 2004. Yes, we all know it sometimes hard to know what we're doing next week, let alone next June. However, if Origins has become a fixture on your convention schedule (as it should be!), then go ahead and make plans to run a few games and get in free for your troubles.

The details are being finalized, but this year's deal looks to be even better than last year's for HOT game masters (and HMGS Great Lakes members, in general). If you have any questions, contact War Wing Director (sounds impressive, eh?) Jodie Panzeri -- she will be in charge of ALL miniatures at Origins, again. Jodie and Pete Panzeri recently moved back to our area, 2719 Sweet Cider Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46818. E-mail them at jodie@jodiecon.org.
