Winter Sword, a DBM Mini tournament and a Big Battle DBA Tournament will be held together on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at The Soldiery, 1957 N. High St., Columbus. Winter Sword is the annual DBM "mini" tournament. Rules are available from Rich Hartley or are posted at The Soldiery. We will start at 11 am. The DBA tournament will use the Big Battle rules in DBA v2.0. Armies are 36 elements of one list, or 24 elements main army and 12 of a historical ally, as per rules. Three rounds, first begining at 10 am. There will be a lunch break and Mike Demana promises it will be done by dinner time! Bring your own army and terrain (no BUAs!), or contact Mike (see inside front cover) if you need troops or more information.

Other upcoming events include a doubles tournament to be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at "The Guard Tower" on the west side of Columbus.

Results from Advance the Colors DBM Tournament

Thanks for all who came to play. As you can see, the results were really close. The tournament was played in Springfield, OH, with three 3 1/2 hrs rounds. Rich got the trophy and Michael Ohtonen won a starter DBM army donated by Outland Games. This was the closest tournament yet -- any of four players could have won going into the final round.
