From Donald Featherstone: To all the wonderful lads of the HMGS Great Lakes chapter, I am more proud than I can say to read the wonderful sentiments and friendly thoughts expressed in the letters sent to me by so many fellow-members of our glorious hobby. It makes me feel that it is almost worthwhile suffering the slings and arrows of my heart attack to know that anything I have done for the hobby -- and myself -- has generated such appreciation. I apologize to those among you who wrote me long personalized letters for answering you with this stereotyped missive, but to write nearly two hundred individual replies was more than I could handle! I think it bears out my oft-stated belief -- that wargaming is more than a game with model soldiers on a tabletop battlefield -- it is a matter of being an international blessing of genuine comradeship. I thank every one of you -- it is an honour to have made myself known to all of you.
