We have a rather unique dilemma in the Great Lakes area, this year. We have two good conventions going on in our area on the SAME WEEKEND! David van Hoose has told you about Gamefest Indy, which also happens to be on the same weekend as U-CON. This year marks the first concerted effort to bring historical miniatures to U-CON in Ann Arbor, MI. The convention will be held in the Student Union of the University of Michigan, Nov. 22-24.

Last year, I attended and saw only four historical events scheduled. This year we would like to bring more in, which is where you folks come in. Please come out and support the hobby at U-Con. It is a generic sci-fi and fantasy con similar to Origins or Gencon. Events Coordinator Joe Saul has expressed an interest in getting more historical miniatures events and is willing to work with us. I am pulling together a list of folks able and interested in coming to Ann Arbor to run some games. We are hashing out the details and more will be posted as the time draws near.
