Summer Sword will be held on Saturday, June 1, at my house. It will be a combination of a mini tournament and cookout. Call me at (614) 539-4462, if you plan on attending, and for directions/instructions on what to bring. Start time will be 11 am, using the 200 APs mini format. Jeff Fletcher is hosting a DBM tournament at Origins 2002, July 6, at the Convention Center in Columbus, OH. We will play three rounds, 400 points, two versions of the same army list in same year and region. Bring either 15mm, 25mm or both (substitute Army provided for 15/25mm match-ups). Rounds will be 3.5 hours with half-hour breaks (possible 4th round depending on final entrance). After Origins, the next tournament will be at Advance The Colors, Saturday, Sept. 14, starting at 10 am. This will be 15mm only, 400 APs, two lists, same year and geographic area. A $5 entry fee will be collected at the Umpire desk. Here are the results from the Capcon tournament:
As always, a good time was had by all, and the competition was very close. Thanks to Chris von Fahnestock of Outland games' sponsorship, providing several DBA armies as prizes. And thanks to all who attended. I plan on starting another Hoplites and Phalanxes campaign in June and which will last until December. Let me know it you are interested.
