Drums Along the Maumee 3 went off better than we expected. A new site that was easier to find, work with and game in. We even had a Hot Dog Cart running up and down the aisles selling all they had! We estimate more than 100 Gamers were in the mix of 30 or so events. The Dealers were great and had many different products not normally seen here in the Northern Outpost. Most of the Great Lakes Board of Directors were present and were very happy with the turnout and the presentation. We made money for the chapter and we have plans on being at the same venue for the next two years -- already have money down! Game Masters from Drums 3: Please write to Mike Demana any After Action Reports that you can come up with. We would like the members who have never been here to begin making plans to attend in 2003. The Wolcott Museum Tour was very interesting, also. Next year -- the new, rebuilt Fort Meigs and the Fallen Timbers Center will be on our agenda. As stated in the e-group from Great Lakes, we intend to begin filling our Friday convention schedule next year MUCH earlier in the day, so we may be recruiting more of our local and distant Game Masters and running more events than ever before for Drums 4. Okay, so the convention is over, bought new troops and it's time to begin painting, right? Not yet! We begin work on Drums 4 next week. To all the help we received, THANK YOU! More later...
