The Drums Staff and The Colby Street Irregulars would like to thank, in print, the chapter, the Board of Directors and the membership for again allowing us to present Drums Along the Maumee in Toledo, OH. We planned our goals and workload -- and it all came together last weekend at the Clarion Hotel gathering. The results?
2. More income was created for the coffers to fund the next year's events. 3. 23 of the 25 events were run during the convention. A medical emergency and a business trip cost us a game each, but we easily filled in. 4. All Board members were in a common setting, along with 10 Colbys. 5. A raffle was completed for $100 profit -- thanks to the donors of the prizes. 6. The Convention set-up was so smooth that we were sitting down when the Dealers and the Gamers hit the door. The Dealer unload and load was a sight to see -- gamers helping the Dealers set-up and breakdown! 7. Our Dealer Room was full. 8. Many members came and had some great battles. And we gained new ones. 9. The membership was told of our move to bigger and better quarters for Drums 3 next year. 10. An alliance has been formed with the group from Westland, MI -- the convention creators of Pro or Con and Battlefields.
