Drums 2 is now embedded in the annals of Great Lakes history. This two plus day event has fast become a mainstay of the Great Lakes program. Many of the games were filled with enthusiastic players and the Dealer Room always had some traffic. We even had a nice tour at Fort Meigs on Sunday. All in all, a great weekend was had by all. One question though: With quality game masters, fine events, a great selection of dealers, funds in the black, and a 15% increase in attendance, how could this convention get any better? How about a bigger and better site? In April, with the board's approval, a contract was signed to move Drums to the Holiday Inn Toledo West. These facilities, much the same as in Springfield for ATC, but without the atrium, will provide more room for gaming and Dealers, is closer to Fort Meigs, has less traffic, and is just as easy to get to. So make advanced plans to attend this popular event in Toledo next year. Drums 3 will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 17-18.
