Colby Street Update: "Well, we are in the last week of preparing for Drums along the Maumee to be held here in Toledo. Much of the last 12 months has been in the creation of a show that all the members can enjoy and be proud of. It is their money and we wanted to make sure that theirfunds were being used in a good cause. The Drums Staff (Larry, Moe and Curly) have been up to their armpits in all that goes into the running of an historical convention. Yhose of you who know will understand, those that don't -- help a local effort and learn the "Real Game " of organizing a Con.

The local Colby's on-station will be joined by several of our members who have moved on to other lands and groups from cities outside our outpost up here in the north. Work with the Great Lakes Board has been really helpful this year. Problems and slipups have been less than expected and speedy answers have beenforthcoming from the leadership. Thank you Tom, Jack, David, Bud and Andy...and Darryl somebody? Once again, we have tried to get helpfrom the surrounding areas and have been pleased with our success. Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Ohio have sent their best to help create our show. Work is progressing on our move to another site -- more later on Drums 3.

Gaming. We are building pirate ships and signing on their crews. The Boxer Rebellion and the Battle Cry varients are being worked on. The Colby Christmas Party by the pool is being prepared as well as the daughter:v High School Graduation Party. With the interestftom the area Gaming Centers, we hope to finally get the Colby Webpage looking smart and really be of some help to people who want information. Post Drums - next!
