A big Thank You to all the historical gamers who turned out to enjoy the weekend with us at Capcon XXIV. We are gratified by the great support you've all shown us over the years. Next year will be twenty-five years of Capcon and we want the Silver Anniversary convention to be the best Capcon ever. Mark your calendars now on April 12-14, 2002, for Capcon XXV. Keep an eye on our web site at www.mgaosu.org where we will be posting these old flyers and photos from previous conventions. Any of those old photos you have of us in younger days playing games at Capcon would he appreciated as we'd love to have them on the site and we have plenty of room. We've unearthed a copy of the flyer for Capcon I and it has inspired us to put a focus on games that were played or available for that first convention as events for next year's convention. One of the things we're hoping for is a 1/1200 scale naval miniature for World War I or Il. Anyone who has a line on someone willing to run such an event please let me know. Or if you know of a 1/ 1200 collection gathering dust somewhere, we'll find a gamemaster if we can lay hands of some models we can use. Thanks again from me and all the folks associated with Capcon. --Guy Flora, Adviser, Miniatures and Gaming Association at The Ohio State University.
