A Word from RLBS: The staff at RLBPS (Ann and Bob) are planning our convention schedule for 2001 and are already looking forward to Cold Wars in March, Little Wars in April, and NashCon in May. Hopefully the snow will begin to melt and allow us to travel by then. Right now we are buried - 30 inches of snow has fallen here (Rockford, IL) since Dec. 1, and I think only a half inch has melted!"

Every other Friday at 9 pm: "Society of Military Gamers" (see Clubs section) does Ancients, Napoleonics, World War II, etc. They also do historical board games. They are joined by the local chapter of the North American Society of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers, (NASAMW) on the 3rd Friday of each month for various Ancients.

Last Sunday of each month: "Justinian's Wars," Ancients campaign using DBA rules. Players control a kingdom in the period of the Byzantine reconquest of the West.
