The Board of Directors has received the resignation of Board Member/Secretary Joe Fox due to family concerns. It is with regret that the board accepts his resignation effective immediately. The Board of Directors would like to announce that Bud Hunter has volunteered and was appointed to finish the unexpired term of Board Member Joe Fox and will also take over the duties as Secretary. The Board of Directors would like to reassure the membership that the issue of membership cards has become a top priority and efforts are being made to correct the situation.

Also the Board of Directors would like to ask for a volunteer to take over the duties as theGreat Lakes representative to the National Coordinating Council for HMGS. Our current rep, Brian O'Leary, is stepping down. As our rep to the NCC, you would attend the national meeting at Historicon, and then relay the information back to the Board of Directors. See his note below for further description. Brian O'Leary has done an excellent job and we thank him for his hard work for the Great Lakes Chapter.
