Recently, discussion has taken place on the Great Lakes e-group addressing the lack of alternative miniatures gaming events at Great Lakes conventions in the past. The Great Lakes Board of Directors is interested to know what the membership thinks regarding this issue. Alternative miniatures gaming events are defined as games that use fantasy or science fiction armies or magic. It does not refer to hypothetical scenarios based on historical events, or non-historical engagements between historical armies. 1) Should Great Lakes allow alternative gaming in the form of alternative miniatures events at its conventions. If so, what percentage of the total number of events should be permitted?
