Buckeye Game Fest
Features Historical Games
The Central Ohio Gaming Association (COGA) and the Columbus Area Boardgaming Society (CABS) are pooling forces for this convention featuring both historical miniatures and board games. The con will beheld at Signature Inn, 6767 Schrock Hill Ct., Westerville, OH. Plans are for two miniature games on Friday and four on Saturday. Scheduled so far:
Friday, Oct. 27
6 pm "Warfare in the Age of Reason," 15mm Seven Years War.
6 pm "Desperado," 25mm Wild West Skirmish.
-- plus historical board games: Brittania, Hannibal, Great War at Sea, Totaler Krieg!, Diplomacy.
Saturday, Oct. 28
TBA "American Civil War," 15mm battle using Piquet rules.
TBA "Desperado," 25mm Wild West Skirmish.
-- plus historical board games: Age of Renaissance, War at Sea, Advanced Squad Leader, Ra, Battle Cry, Totaler Krieg!, Diplomacy, History of the World, For the People, Carlos Magnus, Atlantic Storm.
