Yes, the reenactment season is upon us, and it is swinging into high gear. As I have mentioned in these pages before, I often enjoy watching reenactments as an extension of my interest in military history. I hope that others will find the following list of activities useful. This was compiled from entries found in the Smoke & Fire News, The Civil War News and from various sources on the internet.
Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous

Muskets to Missiles
May 27-28 Fort Niagara, NY
Costumed participants will recreate soldiers from the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, late nineteenth century, World War I & II. The New York National Guard will be on hand to display modern uniforms, weapons and equipment. Guided tours of the historic 1812 cemetery will also be offered.
