Yes, the reenactment season is upon us, and it is swinging into high gear. As I have mentioned in these pages before, I often enjoy watching reenactments as an extension of my interest in military history. Muskets to Missiles
May 27-28 Fort Niagara, NY Costumed participants will recreate soldiers from the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, late nineteenth century, World War I & II. The New York National Guard will be on hand to display modern uniforms, weapons and equipment. Guided tours of the historic 1812 cemetery will also be offered. Memorial Day Weekend Military Remembrance

Memorial Day Celebration
