This is a quick note to express my hearty thanks to everyone who joined us at Capcon XXIII. All those that help out every year (you know who you are) are greatly appreciated by me and everyone associated with the con. Since we are always interested in ways to improve Capcon, if you have a suggestion, please take a moment and pass it on to me. It's also not too soon to plan and schedule events for next year, so feel free to get preliminary info to me. Here are three things we are working on to improve the convention as we head towards our 24th year: Much bigger and better painting contest on Saturday of the con. Several people have already stepped forward to make this happen. Ways for attendees to easily express feedback and win prizes. Watch for "Ballot Boxes" next year. A contest for the design of next year's T-shirt and Convention Program has been established. There is a substantial cash prize. We have established dates for next year': CAPCON XXIV will be held April 28-30, 2001. That's only 50 weeks away! I hope we can see you there. Thanks again for another fun Capcon! -- Guy Flora, advisor: 3818 Sunbury Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43219. (614) 471-9812, or e-mail: flora.1@osu.edu.
