As many of you know, I took over the role of HMGS Great Lakes' representative to the HMGS National Coordinating Committee (NCC) this past December.

Tasks at hand basically consist of assembling a set of by-laws and defining the role of the NCC. David Bonk of HMGS East and Pete Panzeri of GI are working on compiling the proposed by-laws, which will then be sent to each of the HMGS chapters for review. After review, the chapter representatives to the NCC will vote to accept the new by-laws at a meeting to be held at Historicon this summer. Other activities conducted by the NCC have been discussion of and the distribution of advertising literature produced by HMGS East for use in promoting historical miniatures gaming.
