by Great Lakes Treasurer Scott Savory
Not only was Advance the Colors'99 an outstanding wargaming weekend for our attendees, it appears that it will be a financial success as well. Increased attendance and a very successful raffle contributed greatly to our convention receipts. Kudos to Ray Garbee for the handsome T-shirt design this year, which sold like hotcakes! A last minute billing error on the part of the hotel has yet to be resolved, but it looks like the convention was conducted with a positive cash flow. This should put the chapter in a good position to support our upcoming events in 2000. The report below reflects treasury activity since last issue's report. Please note that 77 members joined or renewed at the convention, so $770 of the ATC receipts shown below constitute membership dues. Note also that Great Lakes received its refund of national dues as a result of the recent NBoD vote to return the national treasury to the chapters. A complete financial report for ATC'99 will appear in the next issue of the Herald. Summary of Treasury Activity (as of September 21, 1999):Previous Treasury Balance $ $2,728.68 Income:
