Fantasy game company FASA purchased Ral Partha Enterprises Sept. 28, primarily "to ensure the high quality" of their Battletech and Shadowrun miniatures lines, according to a company spokesman.

Bob Watts, former manager and part owner of Heartbreaker Hobbies and Games, was chosen to head Ral Partha. Watts said they will continue the miniatures and paint lines and create a range of table top miniatures games and accessories. "Customers should expect to see improvements in both shipping time and availability of [Ral Partha] products.
